About the conference
Prístupne is a conference on digital accessibility – the accessibility of websites, mobile apps and electronic documents for people with disabilities. When accessibility guidelines are applied correctly, people with disabilities can use digital services fully and independently.
The conference brings together users with disabilities, accessibility experts, developers, designers and the civil servants who prepare the relevant legislation. After the 2023, 2024 and 2025 editions, we are now preparing the next one – Prístupne 2026.
Vision
The Prístupne conference aims to become a key platform for digital accessibility in the region and to contribute to an inclusive digital world in which everyone – regardless of their abilities – has equal access to information, technology and services.
Philosophy
The Prístupne conference is based on the belief that the digital world should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability, age or disability. Our philosophy rests on three main principles:
- Inclusion as a cornerstone of the digital society
- Bringing together technology, design and human experience
- Awareness, education and long-term change
Who the conference is for
- website owners and administrators in e-commerce and financial services,
- website administrators and editors of towns and municipalities,
- web developers and designers,
- website administrators of schools and libraries,
- UX students,
- people with disabilities who work in digital accessibility,
- anyone interested in digital accessibility for people with disabilities.

Previous editions
Organisers
The Slovak Blind and Partially Sighted Union (ÚNSS) has long been working on digital accessibility – by collaborating on legislative changes, by working with organisations and companies that want to make their digital products accessible, and by raising public awareness of digital accessibility.
In September 2024, ÚNSS founded the company prístupne, s. r. o., which now provides all the digital accessibility services previously offered by ÚNSS.
